I’m a communist and regularly lurk on this sub

I want to preface that I believe anyone should be able to post here as long as they’re not spamming. I also think I’d be a rather moderate leftie even within communist circles. <br><br>I think it’s important to have discord so you can speak to people who disagree with you. I’d never talk with right wingers or reactionaries on a right wing discord. That’s because the people who regularly post there are so hateful and uneducated on the world.<br><br>But this sub is different. The regulars (you) are all respectful in your disagreements and for the most part, you actually know what you’re talking about and why you disagree. I’d never say that you have all the answers or even that you’re close to being right, but I think it’s important to listen to and engage with people you disagree with. <br><br>You all seem particularly thoughtful and well read so I think It’s worthwhile even when you disagree.
