Why am I as a student being forced to go out and get a job?

I’m not sure if this has happened to you before, but I really don’t get it. <br><br>I’m not sure I can put a lot into this post because I’m on my phone, but I was forced to find a job. The reason was because I’m supposedly sitting around all day. I literally do nothing but study and I have a teacher calling my parents saying stuff like that. I’m already exhausted the way it is. And I’m being convinced to work a job for minimum wage. And before you say it, yes I’m broke. I’m not going to risk my future just for a measly $12 an hour. I’m already stressed enough.
