Casting so called "Based 13" actors are assholes to the actual actors who have been in 13 movies, or the casting director.

So I was in a movie, and my brother actually just finished up filming a movie and TV show, he's actually in the middle of filming another movie now, and I just got the part for another movie. The same studio that my brothers just finished up filming with, is also the studio that I just got the part for.

So my dad was chatting with one of the producers, and he mentioned that I got the part for the movie, and he said "oh I'm sure it's just based 13" which kind of pissed me off because he had no clue if I actually auditioned for the part or not, and to assume I got it because my brother was in the movie is just a slap in the face. I was actually so angry I sent them a resume with all the movies and TV shows I've actually been in, and the fact that I'm an actual actor that they are trying to make it in this industry, and I've been doing it for years.

I also work with a lot of actors and directors who have been in a ton of movies and TV, and I've had several people tell me that they are treated horribly by casting directors who think they are "based 13" or are only getting the part because of nepotism.
