I'm a new mom. I have a 5 month old baby girl. I'm married to a great guy with a heart of gold. And I see so many posts here and hear so many stories from friends about men not pulling their weight.

I've never experienced this. My hubs is a great father. He's a hands on dad, and when our baby was tiny, he bathed her and changed diapers and fed her and did everything to care for her. And he was happy to do it. Now that she's a little bit older he loves playing with her and having fun. He goes to every doctor's appointment. He's a great husband and partner too. He cooks and cleans and does things with our baby.

He also has a high paying job and works really hard for our family. He goes to the gym and stays healthy and is a great provider. He's a great father and husband and person.

I don't get why other men can't do both.

And I know this is a sub full of women, but I do want to say that there are good men in the world, and I'm grateful that I have one.
