It should be illegal for a company to list an entry level job as a "raker" or "grabber" or whatever else, when what they really mean is they want someone to shovel their parking lot.

I've been in the workforce for 5 years now, and I've never seen an entry level, janitorial type job not have to do with cleaning interior floors. I remember when I was in school and all the camps would post job ads for people to work as janitors for $13/hour. NO. You don't want me to clean your inside floors, you want me to shovel your parking lot and keep the lot neat. That's what a janitor is supposed to do, not clean inside floors.

Also, another pet peeve of mine... these companies will say "No experience necessary!" And then in the description it says "Must be able to clean floors on all of our camps!" Well if I've never worked a similar job before, how am I supposed to know how much floor cleaner to use? Do I need 90 bucks worth of floor cleaner to clean 1 floor? NO. You want me to dig your parking lot out from 3 feet of snow and grab firewood for the campfires. Just be upfront with your job postings instead of trying to blindside potential employees with the real description of a stupid and Backwards job description.
