More and more I want to shoot more rifles and don’t give a shit about anything else.

I got to shoot since Covid I’ve been fortunate to shoot a bunch of people’s shit and I’m just blown away by how nice and fun rifles are. More and more I’m just feeling like that’s what I want to do. My friends all shoot different stuff, some love Glocks, others carry around 38s. I’m just so over it. If I was good enough with a rifle to defend myself, I wont carry anything else. <br><br>This is going to be such a controversial post but let me this. I’ve shot tons of shit, carry since I was 15. I’ve been fortunate to shoot tons of peoples shit. I’m like a meme now to my friends, they say ‘hey wanna shoot my Glock?’ I’m like ‘nah I wanna shoot that rifle hanging on your back’ <br><br>No one besides stupid people says that. If you’re stupid you have no business carrying a firearm but I’m just over it. I want to shoot my 556, my 10mm, my 300 win mag etc. <br><br>When I’m at the range, the rifle shooters always seem cooler. There’s some dudes with some cool guns. The handgun shooters are always rude to each other, the rifle guys just talk and chat. <br><br>I’m more and more I’m just getting bored with everything except rifles. I’m seeing that 300 win mags, 30-06, 308 are so much damn fun to shoot. My 10mm is by far my favorite pistol. The more I shoot my pistol, the more I want to shoot my rifle. I’ve been over Glock and stuff for a while now, I just don’t think that that much fun to shoot. <br><br>More and more I want to carry with a rifle. I’m just over pistols and I want to walk around with a rifle. I want to start hunting. I want to start fucking around in the woods with some real ammo and not 9mm or 40 or 45. I want bigger calibers and bigger guns and I want to fuck around with them. <br><br>I want to be a rifleman, not a handgunman. I want to be the guy that can shoot from far distances not some guy who shoots at 5-10. The idea of shooting 300-500 yards and beyond is so damn appealing to me. I’m just a bitch pistol shooter. <br><br>So if your a rifle guy, congrats. Your cooler than me bitch face handgun shooters. I wanna be a rifleman.
