I got called "handsome"?

i was walking outside of my house with my wife and we saw this girl and 2 guys. one of the men was her bf, but the other one was not. he went up to me with a shit eating grin on his face, and said "hey, you look really handsome today bro" with a creepy smile. He even dropped my wife's name, and said some shit about how he always says hi and how she's very friendly. i was completely dumbfounded and stood there like a fucking idiot, but said "thank you" and went on my way. i dont know but it was such an odd encounter and i could tell the guy was an unusual freak.<br><br>i just got back from the gym and told one of my friends about this and he told me men have done that to him before and that it's normal. i dont believe this though. someone can just walk up to you and say "you look handsome" and thats normal? cant even say hi to a lady stranger without being dehumanized? this is all so wierd.
