The next time a celebrity is accused of a crime, wait until the facts come out FIRST before you celebrate their downfall on social media

Consider this a vent because social media and its mob mentality is almost impossible to change. But I'll try nonethless.

I see this happen constantly and it frustrates me to no end. Someone is accused of a crime, and social media puts them on trial (without giving them a defense) and sentences them, before they have actually been charged and convicted. Such is the case with the latest Chris Pratt controversy.

I made a post saying that the :lit' tweet he posted WASN"T ACTUALLY MENT TO BE IN SUPPORT OF ELLIOT PAGE. He was making a joke on Twitter. I proved that this was the case, and I posted the full' tweet he posted so people could read it for themselves.

Many of you accepted this. However, some of you refused to believe me, whether you think I am lying, or whether you think Chris Pratt is lying, I don't :know. All I can say is its' almost like you are intentionally being obtuse and refusing to believe what is the case. Why?

You're the reason social media is so toxic. The reason it is the :go'-to place to talk down to people that disagree with you politically :even if you've never met them. The :go-to place to publicly humiliate someone, without first checking your facts. And to top it off, you are usually the first to call everyone else the snowflakes. You are the snowflake, because you refuse to call out your own side when they are at fault, you refuse to acknowledge your own hypocrisy, and you refuse to sometimes admit that you are wrong because of your ego.

Chris Pratt isn't a :bad :guy. And if you think he is because he doesn't share your politics, screw you. You are why the world is such a mess.
