Wearing designer clothes is a terrible status symbol

This just means you have disposable money to spend on fancy clothes, but in my eyes makes you seem kinda unfeeling, shallow, and stupid. It's also not necessary to spend this much money on clothes when you know some people barely have enough to afford food or shelter. <br><br>Edit: This is coming from someone who has never owned an item of designer clothing in her life and is not in a position to own it.
