What are your thoughts on the Justice for Johnny debate?

If you’re not familiar with it, it’s an ongoing debate on social media between people who believe that Johnny Depp was a victim of abuse and people who believe Amber Heard was the victim. The debate is framed as a Justice for Johnny debate because a number of people believe Amber perjured herself in their recent court case.<br><br>I have no opinion on it, but I’m interested to know what people on here think about it.<br><br>Edit: sorry about not using a throwaway, I’m away from home and can’t log out. People in the comments have pointed out that this is more of an ethical than a philosophical debate but I think people are forgetting there is a whole school of philosophy based off of gender. It’s probably one of the biggest schools of philosophy of the past 100 years as well.<br><br>This sub is so inconsistent with its rule compliance it’s actually laughable.
