I think people should be discouraged from getting married before age 21.

21 is the age we consider old enough to vote, buy insurance, buy a car, sue, enter into contracts, serve in the military, and buy alcohol. Why do we consider 21 year olds too immature to get married? I think 21 should be the minimum age for marriage. I feel there are far too many marriages that end badly or shouldn’t have happened at all and children are often left devastated.
