My dad has been going through a lot and it feels good to care for him

I just wanted to share a little something today as a small pick me up.<br><br>My dad is going through a shit period, one of the worst he’s gone through. He’s 62 so that’s not surprising, just the natural wheels of life turning, but he hasn’t been well in general anyway so I thought this might break him. I was worried it would...<br><br>I’ve been taking care of him and I’ve been so grateful for it. I just left him with a pot of homemade stew and he’s delighted by it. He’s cheered up so much, I’m so happy I can help him.<br><br>I know it’s not revolutionary, it’s not mind-blowing, but I’m really happy for him and I’m happy that he’s happy.<br><br>I just wanted to share that. <3<br><br>Edit: thanks folks, please keep your money in your pockets. I’m really happy to be able to help my dad at a difficult time in his life. I love him so much. I’m just glad I can do tiny things to cheer him up and help him through this. That’s all.
