If you have any pending medical procedures, your doctor will tell you that you will be tested for Covid 19. If you test positive, they’ll cancel your procedure indefinitely, not reschedule it.

I learned this yesterday and I wish someone had told me this before.

My mother in law’s (MIL) doctor told her that she could do a medical procedure to tell where the problem is. MIL wasn’t feeling good and it appeared she was getting worse. She would be in pain and vomiting. We took her to the hospital because of this. They told us that they will do a procedure to see where the problem is. She was admitted. Then the next morning she had to be tested but it was too late, she had already coded twice and was moved to ICU. They told us that she needed to be resuscitated twice. This is what made us think she was already gone because they told us she coded.

Two weeks later, she was approved to go home. She got home, and after 5 days she was back in the hospital. They told us that she needs a stent put in. They came to take her to do the procedure but stopped the procedure stating she was too sick and needed to get better. The next morning she coded and didn’t make it.

Days went by and the autopsy came out and she had a blood clot.

Then last night I get a call from a cousin that her husband (my husband’s uncle) is having a procedure done. MIL’s story came to mind so I told the cousin that they will probably test him for Covid. She said they are and if he’s positive, they’ll cancel the procedure and reschedule.

The next morning, my husband gets a call that his uncle coded and didn’t make it.

I decided to share this to get the word out. We were not told that she would be tested for Covid and that if she tested positive they would cancel the procedure.
