AI is a tool, not a person. Stop personifying it and treating it like a sentient being.

The more I see people using phrases like "AI contrarianism" or "AI skepticism" to describe people who are not ecstatic about AI, the more I am reminded of the insane things people said about vaccines.<br><br>Every time a person personifies AI, they are taking a little bit away from the human experience. I am not against AI, I am against the contrarianism that "it's not up to us to decide if our entire way of life should change for the worse".<br><br>If we should change something, we need to talk about it, but for this we need to understand what we are really talking about.<br><br>Edit: It seems that more than one person user has failed to read the text of the post and only read the title.<br><br>Edit 2: Very funny that the biggest "AI skeptics" are the ones who are profiting the most from it.
