I have no sympathy for all the men getting locked up on drunk driving charges

I got arrested in college for an MIP charge. I didn't even Have anything on me. All I had done was say yes to the officer when he asked if I drank on the weekends. I got arrested and locked up for 24 hours. I had to pay a fine and do community service. I've heard stories of my male friends having open beers in the car driving around and nothing happened. Having drinks on campus and smoking weed and once again nothing happened. The cops patrolled campus but when they found girls drinking they would arrest more often, but for the guys it seemed like it was no big deal and they would just take the booze and weed and let them go with a warning. But when I got arrested and my friend got arrested it was a huge deal.
