The Keeping Up Keeping Up with the Kardashians show was entirely fake and heavily scripted

With the recent news from Kim K saying that KUWTK was 100% scripted made me think about how the show was a way to manufacture reality using the media and create a false sense of "reality" through a contrived narrative created by producers. The show was a 'documentary' that was a total fabrication of reality and more produced than 90% of the scripted movies.<br><br>I think this is a larger theme of how media and our perceptions of reality are being manipulated and crafted by a select few. This is obvious in other topics like politics, historical events and social issues but this is a really clear example of how the media can make us think something is true when in fact it was all completely made up. Just remember this when you encounter other "reality" shows and news articles and remember to question the validity of what is presented to us as the truth.
