My family and I decided to go sledding. On the way to the parking lot, there was a guy in a blue ski jacket and ski pants walking towards us. We said hi, and he replied back. We went down the hill and had a great time sledding, and the guy in the blue ski jacket walked over the hill and watched us. Every once in a while, I would see him looking at us. I thought it was weird, but I didn't think too much of it. After a while, we decided to hike another trail. As we were walking on the trail, I saw the guy in the blue ski jacket. He said "oh, you guys must like hiking." We said hi and started walking towards him. We passed him and he didn't say anything. As we kept walking, I told my parents to be cautious and pay attention to where he was. My dad said "don't worry about it, he's not a threat, we're on a trail."

We walked for about 2 miles on the trail before we decided to turn back. I told my parents "be ready to defend yourselves and me, just in case." As we walked towards him, he looked at us and immediately started walking at a fast pace towards us. We all immediately stopped and changed direction. We started to power walk down the trail, and he was following us. We picked up our pace and started to run, but we were on a hill. We ran up a hill for about 200 feet but he was closing in on us. We made it to the parking lot, and when we got to the car, the adrenalin was wearing off and we were tired. We were all thankful for making it out safe.
