My ex-friend is a literal psychopath.

I had a friend who I'd known for about a year, and he always seemed really nice. He was my one of my closest male friends. He was one of the people I went to for advice when my boyfriend was being abusive, and he was always really sympathetic. We always had good conversations.<br><br>One night we were talking really late and he starts telling me about how he's had "things done to him" and he's been "pushed too far" and he wants to "get back" at the people who did it. As we go on I realize he's talking about his ex. We were in a zoom call and he started showing me these really disturbing videos of himself beating up a girl. Like full on pummeling her, screaming at her, hitting her in the face and choking her. I was shocked and I was like "what the fuck is wrong with you?!" and he just looks at me with this face that I can't even describe. It was just a blank stare. I was like "you're not even sorry are you?" and he just shrugged.<br><br>He was talking about how he used to trap her in the room and beat her up and how he really messed up her face. He was describing all of these things he did to her in this completely emotionless way. It was honestly terrifying. I was like "get some help dude, or don't ever talk to me again and fuck off." And my ex-friend was like "yeah, sure." He didn't even apologize.<br><br>I was really scared after that because I knew about all of the times he came to my house. He was always there. I was genuinely afraid he was going to hurt me. He was my friend for a year and I never would have expected him to be capable of that. I knew he was a bit of an asshole but I didn't know he was a literal psychopath.<br><br>I really hope he gets help. This dude is a ticking time bomb waiting to explode and kill someone.
