The race for the final seat in the US Senate comes to an end today, as voters decide the runoff election in the state of Georgia between Democratic Senator Raphael Warnock and Republican challenger Herschel Walker. This is the only remaining seat in the US Senate that has yet to be decided, with the Democrats poised to take 50 seats regardless of the outcome in this race, pending a January special election in Alaska, and the Republicans holding 49 seats with the outcome pending.<br><br>Polls close at 7 pm local time (8 ET, 5 PT) tonight, and votes will start being reported once the polls are closed.
