[No Unpopular Opinions] I hope that the modern women's empowerment movement falls apart

I'm not arguing that women shouldn't be equal to men. Of course they should be. It's disgusting how women have been treated in the past and it's deplorable that modern society isn't completely rid of that kind of thing yet.

What I am arguing is that the women's empowerment movement is largely misdirected and is at a major turning point. Right now it seems as if feminism is mostly about having women as equals, and I support that. But it's already getting skewed, and I don't see it ending well. I predict that if the modern feminist movement isn't killed, it will slowly turn into misandry. I think that the movement is already beginning to take a turn for the worse.

I hope that the feminist movement is killed because I don't think that it's healthy to have large groups of people working to make a specific gender equal. The idea of feminism is to make a specific gender equal, and I don't think that's right. I think that modern feminism is like trying to fix a broken leg by taking a pill. There are a lot of social issues that need to be fixed in order for us to all be truly equal, and all that feminism does is mask those issues. I would much rather see the modern feminist movement fall apart and see people construct a new movement to address everyone having equal rights, not just women.
