What is the sentiment of people on travel bans?

Lately I have been seeing a lot of comments in this sub saying that the travel ban will only get worse. I started thinking about this and wanted to know if anyone knows the facts about people’s views on this. <br>What I do know and have seen is that a lot of people with the “MAGA” mentality (I don’t say this to offend) and Trump supporters, and many people with not very well-informed and documented opinions agree with the ban and want it to get stricter. I also started seeing and hearing people that were on the “let people travel” side start arguing the other side because of this and all the travel restrictions put in place and also because of people’s disregard for the rules and travel and quarantine. I’m wondering what the general consensus is and not just on this sub. I think it’s interesting to see how everybody is arguing and fighting about this, especially when there are far more important issues and problems than travel sentiment.<br><br>Edit: I want to thank everybody that has commented for not being a jerk and fighting in the comments, thank you very much.<br><br>Edit #2: I want to clarify that I am not a Trump supporter or not a supporter, this is just a personal curiosity of mine not anything else.
