Anyone else concerned that normies are stockpiling guns?

I just returned from my local gunshop and the shelves are clearing of guns and ammo. It is mostly just “tactical” type stuff being sold out. I asked one of the employees why everything is selling out and they said it is mostly concerned first time gun owners buying them up. It seems like there is a big surge in new shooters because I see a lot of people on this sub and other similar subs who claim to be new to guns or are planning on buying a gun for the first time. I am just a bit worried about people with 0 training suddenly owning guns. It seems like it will only fuel the fire for anti gun people saying how we are all irresponsible and unsafe gun owners.
