The whole "make friends in school to be successful in life" thing is a modern myth.

We are living in an era where it's more important than ever to make friends in school to have a successful life in the future, this is completely dumb, if you're destined for greatness nothing can stop you, not even lack of friends. Successful people were often loners as kids and that didn't make them socially awkward, my friend who was bullied for being smart and weird is one of the most successful people in my highschool, he has over 300k on his commission only youtube channel in just under 2 years, and he made like 50 or something grand in just one day, he didn't make friends in school but he did in college, but he still says that he doesn't need friends to be successful, and looking back at his childhood he is happy that all those things that were said to him about how he'll be in the future if he didn't make friends happened to the other kids not him, and since i'm one of those weird smart kids who gets registered in gift cards and get looked down on i don't wanna make "friends" who will make my life worse in the future, and if you're destined for greatness in life you will find close friends that will help you with your goals in life, you don't need 300 "friends" on your senior book to be successful in life, and sometimes those "friends" you make can land you in huge trouble, like bullying and shit, and even if it's true that good friends will help you out and get you out of a lawsuit or shit i still don't wanna have someone on my back who i don't consider a "real" friend, and if i ever do have trouble, i bet my parents would have my back, and they're worth more than anything, that's why i don't want friends in school, and i don't consider people i play with on game to be my friends, that's just a modern bullshit myth to make kids have friends and become "nicer" people, if you're destined for greatness nothing and no one can stop you, and that whole "treating people nicely" bullshit will be a given when you're successful and rich, you won't need to treat people nicely to be considered a nice guy, money talks and bullshit walks, the whole "making friends" bullshit can land you in shit, and it's easier to have one close friend than 300 "friends" that will shit on you and land you in trouble, so to conclude, the whole "make friends in school" thing is a modern myth, and i bet most successful people in the world were loners as kids, and the only reason we have this stupid myth is because some kids need friends and the schools are the only place we spend a lot of time in as kids, and since we spend a lot of time with these "future friends" we become "friends", that's it, thanks for reading.
