I thought I went crazy

I live in a apartment that I recently moved into with my boyfriend last month. We live on the 3rd floor, there are a apartment next to us that is empty and a apartment a little further down the hall that is being occupied. There is two apartments on the left side of the building and two on the right side of each floor and the stairs are in the middle. So a lot of the apartments are connected by one wall. Up stairs is a restaurant and a few offices and stuff like that. <br><br>A couple of days ago I was sitting in the living room when I heard some one knocking a weird knock like three times fast then a weird pauses then a single knock. I shrugged it off but then I was starting to hear it more and more. I told my boyfriend but he didn't hear it. I thought I was just going crazy or hearing things. We have some weird neighbors, there is a artist that lives on the floor below us who will randomly blast loud music at 3 a.m. And one of the neighbors across from us has a kid who will just scream in the middle of the night.<br><br>I kept on hearing the knocks I tried to ignore it but it kept on going. I came home from work and the knocks were still going on. I thought it was weird but I also thought I was going crazy and just hearing it. One night my boyfriend was cooking some chicken in the kitchen. I was sitting in the living room when I heard the knocks again. This time I heard the music start from the knocks. It was the same weird knock then this weird music would start. I told my boyfriend but he didn't hear the music either. <br><br>A couple of nights later we had some friends over and we were having a movie marathon. We smoke weed and were pretty high when I heard the knocks again and the music started. I told my friends and one of them heard the music. They thought it was weird. I looked up what apartment the knocks were coming from and it was the empty one next to us. I told my landlord and they said that it was weird but maybe it was the pipes or something weird in the apartment. <br><br>I am still hearing the knocks and the music but now I am not the only one. I just wonder who or what is knocking.
