The whole "make friends and not social media" is for people that need social interactions to function. If you're not one of them, you have no need for friends.

I can be fine on my own for years. I can just get groceries and anything I need without any interactions. I don't have to talk to anyone if I don't feel like it. I'm a simple guy with simple needs, so I don't see the need for friends, outside the few I don't really interact with anyway because I don't need to. I just don't see the point of having people in your life. I don't get why people even need romantic partners, but I guess everyone is different, but I would literally much rather be by myself than be in someones company, even a family member.<br><br>I do wonder if the lack of desire for human interaction is because I have aspergers. I like being alone and I have a hard time in any social situation, and I just have a hard time communicating with people.
