If you think that the US should have high taxes because Sweden does, you're an idiot.

High taxes in Sweden are absolutely offset by lower prices due to high subsidies. This is the fairest way to distribute wealth. Anybody can choose to live in Sweden, and there are people who do. But they're also required to pay those high taxes. If the US were to implement high taxes without also providing many subsidies, the economy would be a mess. This doesn't need to be explained, but I guess I'll say it none the less. The people calling for high taxes are idiots.<br><br>Edit: An increase in tax on the wealthy for capital gains would be great, and a decrease in tax on the poor. But saying we should tax at 80% is retarded.
