AITA for calling my boyfriend a jerk for refusing to accommodate my brothers eating habits?

So my boyfriend and I have been dating for 11 months. In fact our 1 year anniversary would be this coming Sunday. So my boyfriend thought it would be a cool idea for him to cook for my parents. He wants to make fish tacos. <br><br>The thing is my brother would have to come as well because my parents don’t like leaving him home alone. And my brother has very particular food habits. He is an extremely picky eater. And he will only eat what he likes. Which isn’t a lot. I told my boyfriend he would have to make some chicken strips on the side and he said no. He said he won’t accommodate for my brother. <br><br>I told him that it would be rude not to make something for my brother since he invited him. He said it’s no big deal he can just eat the tacos without the fish. My brother will not do that. He will not eat the tacos unless they are made exactly the same way he likes them. Which is with fish. <br><br>My boyfriend got really mad when I said he was being a jerk. He said it’s no big deal. And that I’m making it a big deal over nothing. I said he was valid for getting mad. And he told me I can go home if I’m taking my brothers side over his. I said fuck that I’m leaving. He called after me as I left and said the anniversary is off. I called him a jerk.<br><br>He called me when he got off work the next day. Said he’s been thinking about what I said and he refuses to accommodate my brother. He said he will buy him a McDonald’s chicken sandwich or something. But he’s not going to make him food. I told him he was being reasonable. He did ask if I wanted to get back together. I said yes. He said we’re going to go to a different restaurant then. So we can make sure my brother will eat. But I still think it’s my fault. Was I an asshole here?
