Nine people from my Facebook friends list have posted today about their hurt feelings from Israel taking a small, understated position during the war. This is the result of my response to them

I'm an American Israeli with moderate politics.  I don't love Bibi but I believe he's better than Lapid.  And I don't love the right-wing government but their policies are rational and sane compared to the left-wing extremists who seek to take the hill country of Israel (which is actually in the West Bank) and turn it into an independent Palestinian state. <br><br>Everyone who posted that they're ashamed of Israel for her understated and neutral response to the war is delusional and ignorant.  You know nothing about the place you say you love.  Whether you or I like it or not, the Palestinians are a sworn enemy of Israel.  The war now is just the latest attempt to destroy us.  If you don't like it that Israel is protecting herself, then you might as well unfriend me and go FUCK YOURSELF, because you are no friend of mine or of Israel's.
