A former principal of mine told me I’m not cut out to be a teacher because I let a kid cry in my classroom.<br><br>I had a kid who had a meltdown and was upset. I gave him space and Calmly talked to him to help him regain composure. I sat with him on the floor and talked to him. Eventually he stopped crying and went back to class.<br><br>My principal heard about it and told me that I let a kid cry in my classroom and that means I’m not fit to be a teacher because I upset the kid instead of helping him… how did I mess that up?!
