Here to ask about AR’s

I’m watching you guys from the outside. I’ve got a couple of pistols and a Mossberg 20g shotgun. I’ve also got a 6.5 grendel AR, but it wasn’t a normal demi-auto. It’s a semi-auto bolt action that wasn’t easy to change mags. Now I know I won’t get banned for owning an AR, but I just want to know what you guys are getting as your go-to AR. <br><br>I would also love to find out if there is a thread where I can learn how to build my own. <br><br>I already have a torso with my name on the side in my safe. (I know, it’s a hoarder thing, but I like the extra space it gives me). <br><br>I just don’t want to have to give up a bunch of stuff if I really liked AR’s. Unfortunately it’s not like MS or AL where I can take a house gun and go walking around the neighborhood with it.<br><br>I’ve got about $600 for an AR and I would love to get something that is a little bit easy on my pocket. I want to build my own someday, but I need to get a feel for handling it and just getting to know the rifle. I’m not a total noob to guns, I’ve got a great CCW for concealed carry. I might get a permit for my Grendel instead of the pistol.<br><br>Also, I might have 300 rounds to start off with.
