I was a paramedic for 10 years. I’ve been in a lot of wrong places at the wrong times and seen a lot of things that don’t make sense. What if a lot of what we call accidents aren’t accidents?

I have kept these thoughts to myself for years but something is telling me that I don’t think it’s all just a coincidence. I was a paramedic for 10 years, I have been in a lot of wrong places at wrong times and seen things that don’t make sense like people just vanish into thin air. I have ran a lot of calls were it just didn’t make sense. For example, one of the calls that really made me wonder was a young lady was driving to work one morning, by herself, not a single scratch on any part of her car, not even a speck of dust. No witnesses. She was dead at the scene. She had an aneurysm burst in her brain. She never made it to the hospital.

Another call I ran one morning was a 4 vehicle wreck. It was 4:30am. People heading to work. There were 2 pickup trucks, a van and a semi. I got on scene, it was a pretty bad wreck. One of the pickup trucks was across the median down an embankment in a field. The other pickup and the van were in the road and the semi was down an embankment across the median on the other side. I didn’t have anyone injured. I didn’t have any witnesses. I didn’t have a cause. It made no sense whatsoever.

I’ve been on calls were people just vanish. Managers call 911 for employees because they didn’t show up to work and with addresses, all we ever find is their vehicles. I’ve been on calls were families call 911 because their loved ones didn’t come home and all we find are their vehicles on remote country roads. No signs of a wreck. No scratches on the vehicle. No damage whatsoever.

I want anyone who has or does work in emergency services to tell me if they have had the same thoughts. Or to tell me if I’m just overthinking this.
