The "Golden Age"

I've been lurking on this site for years now, but it was only until now that I had an account. I hear nothing but nostalgia about the time before the "NSFW" filter, the porn ban, and the time when the supposed "Horror Season" was in full effect. I hear stories about seeing a good thread in /b/, then an 80 post string of gore and nothing but gore. People in /r/4chan were talking about how they were afraid to open any links from /b/ in school because who knows what they would get.<br><br>What I want to know is, is /b/ at all projectable in the modern day? I've gotten nothing but "Ronald McDonalds thick gloopy sperge" in the image description area of any /b/ image. I hear nothing but positive comments about the time when it was good, but I don't see it that way. I see nothing but bullshit here. Nothing but thick gloopy sperge.<br><br>&#x200B;
