Gypsy Rose Blanchard shouldn’t be celebrated

So I think it is really messed up how everyone is praising Gypsy for murdering her mom. She had a mentally ill mother who was also a victim of abuse and took advantage of by her father. But was her mother abusive? Yes.<br><br>But her abuse paled in comparison to the abuse that her father inflicted upon her. Her father abused her physically and emotionally, made her into an invalid, swindled money from the government, and even put her into hospitals and hospitals when she was a minor, it was also shown that he had lied to her face-to-face about why she was hospitalized and that he convinced her that she was indeed invalid.<br><br>But he also abused his wife just as much as he abused his daughter. They didn’t have money because of Gypsy, they had money because of her father.<br><br>Now if you are going to say “her father abused them both so she did what she had to do”, that’s okay, but he didn’t abuse her to the extent of starving her, abusing her physically to the extent of her teeth falling out, he didn’t even abuse her mother as much as he did to his daughter.<br><br>But not only that, there are so many people, specifically people in her family, who loved her and loved her mom as well, and her mom had a lot of people who loved her too, but people always say “she was a victim of abuse and her mom was a victim of abuse and her family was a victim of abuse, so she did what she had to do”.<br><br>But did he give her an option to escape from him? Did she try to go to the police? Nope. Did she even go to her mom when she realized that her mom wasn’t doing anything about the abuse? Nope.<br><br>She stayed with her father for **2** years after she was **released** from jail, not after she left her father, that’s messed up. She also made a lot of money off of the movie, the book, and even the TV show, not once did she donate a single amount of money to her mom’s favorite charity.<br><br>Now if you’re going to say “her mom was an abuser and she was the one who abused her”, if that’s the case, I can’t wait to see the people on this website go after her because she was abused. But we can’t, because Gypsy is just another person who abused someone for her own needs.
