People who say "humans weren't meant to work" have no basic understanding of how a society functions

I want to preface this with: I completely agree that capitalism is bullshit and you should do what you like and not just work for money, but my issue is with the obvious lack of knowledge about where products come from and the Demonization of "work".
I've gotten arguments from people that "humans weren't meant to work", but in reality things like farming, hunting, growing, constructing, making, educating etc etc were all a part of everyday life, even just 70 years ago. People still need to feed themselves, construct shelter and like 100 other basic necessities for survival.
It's obvious that capitalism is bullshit and you should do what you like, but you still need to survive. If you weren't around to hunt for food, someone else had to, and if they didn't someone else had to feed them which takes even more work.
This applies to pretty much every modern convenience you have, someone or another has to make, grow, build, construct, find food for you.
If you didn't want to work, you sure as hell didn't work yourself, so who works for you?
In modern society today, if you work you are more than likely working so that you can buy things other people have worked for. I work for the government, and my wife works for a company that provides service to others. Our taxes fund things other people need like food and shelter for others, and our service provides other people being able to work by running the infrastructure for society. Neither of us directly make or produce anything we sell, yet we somehow feel we don't deserve a paycheck for something we literally didn't do ourselves and have to rely on others to get something of value to us? Like if I didn't pay taxes someone would have to pay me for the same things I pay taxes for?
And if you couldn't pay workers for work, because workers aren't needed, then who makes your food? Who picks your fruits? Who maintains the roads you travel down? Who builds your damn phone that you can't live without (I understand computers etc etc can be essential, but if you don't have food you're dead regardless of your device) Who makes your damn pants if everyone just forges their own? Who the actual fuck makes you gas for your car if no one works at the gas station? It's obvious there is a massive disconnect between what people want and how they think they should get it.

You can't just say "you don't need to work anymore", when you've only figured out a few ways to produce food and other resources without labour. It's obvious that a lack of labour results in starvation, and if you completely stopped working there'd be zero effort into producing something better for tomorrow. It's obvious that only a select few have had the understanding of how important labour is.

Give me a god damn example of how you can survive in a modern city without doing any work, cause I think it's pretty obvious you need to do some sort of labour.
