This is the most upvoted comment I've ever made on reddit. Made in 2016. Now Netflix is bleeding subscriptions and on the way out. If you don't think this is true then please change my view.

EDIT: First off - thank you everyone for the gold and the awards etc. I really do appreciate it and it's been fun to look at while I watch the votes go up.

Now - a few things to clarify. I've never said "Netflix will go out of business" or "Netflix will be out of business in X years" or anything like that. It just will not be the behemoth it is today. Netflix was the only game in town essentially. Now with so many streaming services there is increased competition and with Disney+, Hulu, Apple TV and other streaming services getting huge amounts of new content, I think there will be too much competition for Netflix to compete against. My CMV is that Netflix is the new Blockbuster and will fail in the same way Blockbuster failed to Hulu/Disney+/Apple TV/etc. Or more simply Netflix will no longer be the giant in the room that it currently is.
