He said he wouldn't let us stay there at Christmas anymore, so we told him it didn't matter and we'd stay at a hotel, and he said he'd let us stay there anyway because we were family, but we had to pay him $500 a night as a "rental fee" and we told him there was no way we could make that work, it was more than a hotel room and if we were gonna pay that anyway then we'd rather stay somewhere else. He said that was fine, and if we wanted to stay then we had to pay, and we said there was no way we'd ever do that. Then he said that he'd pay us $500 a night to stay at our condo instead, but only if we agreed to let him put cameras in the condo and we told him hell no. He said that he wanted the cameras there because he and his wife were staying in the condo for a week and they were afraid we'd let our friends in without asking while they were there.
