My dad and his wife installed cameras in our condo and it got my boyfriend in trouble with the police, so we broke them and now his dad is suing us for thousands of dollars in restitution. r/kingcobrajfs, r/rant, r/offmychest and r/tifu, I am now homeless, my boyfriend's in jail, and my name is on a police warrant for felony criminal property damage. r/AskReddit, r/myboyfriendis, you asked why we destroyed his father's property, I'll tell you. But I am now homeless, my boyfriend's in jail, and my name is on a police warrant for felony criminal property damage, and it's r/conspiracy, r/goldenknights, r/LetsNotMeet, r/redscarepod, r/shitpolitics and r/tifu's fault. We own a condominium in a high rise building, and my husband's dad inherited it when my husband's mom passed away.

It's just his dad and his new wife, they each have two kids from their previous marriages, so six people in total, my husband is the youngest. They have four bedrooms in the house, so two of his siblings sleep in the living room. That's his problem, not mine, my father in law and his siblings live in a completely different part of the country than us and we only visit them every year or two for Christmas. In the past, we've let them stay at our condo for free during the holidays, but this year my father in law tried extorting us for money. He said he wouldn't let us stay there at Christmas anymore, so we told him it didn't matter and we'd stay at a hotel, and he said he'd let us stay there anyway because we were family, but we had to pay him $500 a night as a "rental fee" and we told him there was no way we could make that work, it was more than a hotel room and if we were gonna pay that anyway then we'd rather stay somewhere else. He said that was fine, and if we wanted to stay then we had to pay, and we said there was no way we'd ever do that. Then he said that he'd pay us $500 a night to stay at our condo instead, but only if we agreed to let him put cameras in the condo and we told him hell no. He said that he wanted the cameras there because he and his wife were staying in the condo for a week and they were afraid we'd let our friends in without asking while they were there. But my husband and I both work from home and we don't leave town, the only time we were there was Christmas, so there was no way they'd be there without us.

So my father in law said that he wanted to put cameras in our condo because he and his wife were staying there for a week and they didn't want our friends in the house but my husband and I both work from home, we don't leave town, so there was no way they'd be there without us. We told him hell no, we didn't want cameras in the house, and he said that the cameras were already in the mail, so take it or leave it. This was at the beginning of November and we needed a place to stay for Christmas, so we said the cameras would be fine, and my husband's dad said that we'd have to remove them before we came there. We agreed, but when we arrived a week before Christmas, my father in law and his wife were already gone, so we didn't see them, and the cameras were still in place. We said fuck it, leave it, and we were gonna take them down the night before we left, but then my boyfriend got arrested. And r/conspiracy, r/EscapingPrisonPlanet, r/goldenknights, r/LetsNotMeet, r/redscarepod r/shitpolitics and r/tifu, I thought I was going crazy when it happened.

I'll keep the details vague, but my boyfriend works a lot, and when he's home and not working, he's high. He's addicted to weed, but he doesn't drink or do drugs, so he's not the type to go out and party or hang out with his friends. When he's home and not working, he's usually playing video games or watching videos on youtube. He goes to the gym every day, takes a walk, or goes for a bike ride, and that's about it. He never goes to meet other people and he's always home.

That's why I was so confused when the police showed up at the door and arrested him for sexual child abuse and said it was part of a sting operation. r/conspiracy, r/EscapingPrisonPlanet, r/goldenknights, r/LetsNotMeet, r/redscarepod r/shitpolitics and r/tifu, I thought my boyfriend was being framed, arrested or Railroaded and it was breaking my heart. I never thought it was true. I thought that they had the wrong person but then I saw the footage from my father in law's cameras and I realized what my boyfriend had done. It was so bad that I can't even tell you what was on the video, but r/conspiracy, r/EscapingPrisonPlanet, r/goldenknights, r/LetsNotMeet, r/redscarepod r/shitpolitics and r/tifu, it was so bad and I was so mad at him that I wanted to just leave, I didn't wanna see him and I didn't even wanna be in the same room as him. I felt like I was married to a monster. But I still wanted to know why. I loved him and I felt like he was part of me, my best friend, my soul mate, my brother, my father, my other half. I wanted to know why he did it, what made him do it, and I knew that I wouldn't be able to leave without seeing him.

So I went to the jail and I visited him and he was so happy to see me, I'm crying as I write this, it just hurts so much. He said he loved me so much and that he made a mistake, it wasn't his fault, and I should forgive him. He said he didn't even remember what had happened that night, he was drunk and high on cocaine. r/conspiracy, r/EscapingPrisonPlanet, r/goldenknights, r/LetsNotMeet, r/redscarepod r/shitpolitics and r/tifu, I was so mad at him I just wanted to fucking kill him. He said he made a mistake and it wasn't his fault because he was high? I told him that I didn't believe him and he was a fucking liar. I asked him what the fuck he was doing, why was he doing coke, why was he drinking, why was he out at a bar? He said he was playing a gig and the other band was raving about the coke they had, so he took some, he only did two bumps, and he didn't think it was a big deal but then he got really drunk and then he met up with some people and they drove him somewhere but he doesn't remember where, he thinks it was his friend's house, and the police showed up and arrested him.

r/conspiracy, r/EscapingPrisonPlanet, r/goldenknights, r/LetsNotMeet, r/redscarepod r/shitpolitics and r/tifu, he just kept saying he didn't remember, that it wasn't his fault, he made a mistake, and I just didn't buy it. I knew him, I knew he'd never just go to a bar and drink, he had a gig, he had places to be, he had commitments to meet. He wasn't gonna just go out drinking, not even after a gig was over, and so I just knew that it had to be some kind of setup. That's what I kept thinking, it was a setup, the police had done something to him, they'd crossed something, they'd done something to him, they'd put something in his drink, they'd forced him to do something, they'd forced him to do it, they'd made him do it. I knew it was a setup and that the police had done something to him.

I kept telling him that he needed to tell me the truth, and he said he was, he said he didn't remember but he knew he wouldn't do something like that. r/conspiracy, r/EscapingPrisonPlanet, r/goldenknights, r/LetsNotMeet, r/redscarepod r/shitpolitics and r/tifu, I knew he was lying. He'd done it, he'd done something horrible, and I knew it. I knew he wasn't gonna tell me, so I told him I had to go home, I had to go to work, and he said please don't leave me, he was crying, he said he needed me, he would do anything to make it right, he would do anything to prove it to me, just please don't leave him.

I felt so bad for him, I didn't wanna leave him, but at the same time I felt disgusted. I couldn't believe what he'd done, it was like he was a different person. So I told him I'd think about it and I left. And then I just kept thinking, it didn't make sense, he'd never do that, and
