The USA secretly sprinted to the moon in 1965

After the death of President John F. Kennedy in 1963, President Lyndon B. Johnson promised to carry out the legacy of his predecessor. He secretly wished to accelerate the Apollo sprint to the moon. He knew that the Apollo 1 disaster would lead to a long delay in 1967 if NASA were to suffer such a sprint.

So NASA decided to continue the development of Project Gemini and Apollo in secret with a 3rd project named Apollo-C and a 4th project named Apollo-Z. They weren’t going to tell anything to the world about Apollo C and Z until they reach the moon. They were going to tell the world that they were simply developing the technologies necessary to land on the moon for the Apollo project.

Apollo C would go to the moon in 1965 with 1 sprinter who would stay on the moon for 12 hours.

Apollo Z would go to the moon in 1966 with 3 sprinters who would stay for 15 hours on the moon. 1 of the 3 would stay for only 1 hour in the lunar module of Apollo Z.

President Johnson, decided to continue the development of Apollo C and Z in secret at the cost of accelerating the Gemini Project. NASA was going to launch 8 Gemini missions sprinting to space in 1964 and 1965.

The Soviet Union was confused at the speed at which the USA was launching Gemini missions every 2 months. They knew that the USA couldn’t have achieved this without secretly accelerating their manned spaceflight project.

NASA launched Project Gemini 1 in April 1964. Gemini 1 was the world’s first reusable spacecraft. It could stay in space for 10 days or more, travel 300 miles from Earth’s orbit to the orbit of the International Space Station, accelerate at 4G, decelerate at 1G, and it could carry a payload of 1 ton in low Earth orbit. Gemini 1 was a technological marvel that no spacecraft had ever achieved at the time.

Gemini 1 was secretly used to launch a secret spy satellite name OLYMPUS 1 in sprint to Low Earth Orbit sprinting at speeds of Mach 12 within 15 minutes. It was the first sprint into space in history. Within 30 minutes, OLYMPUS 1 was already in orbit of the International Space Station. NASA lied about Gemini 1’s performance saying it could sprint at mach 5 in 30 minutes to reach Low Earth Orbit.

Gemini 2 was launched in June 1964. Gemini 2 was able to carry 500kg of payload to the orbit of the International Space Station. Gemini 2 was used to launch OLYMPUS 2. Before OLYMPUS 1 and 2, the maximum payload capacity of any rocket was about 150kg to Low Earth Orbit.

Gemini 3 was launched in August 1964. Gemini 3 was able to carry 700kg of payload to the International Space Station. Gemini 3 was used to launch OLYMPUS 3.

Gemini 4 was launched in September 1964. Gemini 4 was able to carry 1 ton of payload to the orbit of the International Space Station. Gemini 4 was used to launch OLYMPUS 4.

Gemini 5 was launched in December 1964. Gemini 5 was able to carry 1.2 tons of payload to the orbit of the International Space Station. Gemini 5 was used for the first time to carry a crew into space. The mission was crewed by 2 astronauts named Bob Dunbar and John Jenkins. They secretly sprinted to space at speeds of Mach 12 and then decelerated to Mach 2 within 15 minutes. They were able to carry out spacewalks and repair the spacecraft’s solar panel in space during the mission.

Gemini 6 was launched in January 1965. Gemini 6 was a historic mission. Bob Dunbar and John Jenkins were back in space. They were going to be the first humans to walk in space for 8 hours. They were going to repair several space stations and satellites in space during the mission. They were also going to launch a space station module with 4 solar panels in space which was going to be used as part of the future International Space Station.

Gemini 7 was launched in March 1965. Gemini 7 was able to carry 1.5 tons of payload to the International Space Station. Gemini 7 sprinted to space at Mach 13.5. It was the fastest spacecraft ever built at the time. It was able to travel to the orbit of the International Space Station within 15 minutes from launch.

Gemini 8 was launched in May 1965. Gemini 8 secretly carried 4 astronauts to the moon within 2 hours. But they didn’t land on the moon. They were going to stay in orbit of the moon for 1 hour sprinting at speeds of Mach 25 and then return to Earth within 1 hour. The crew consisted of NASA astronauts Hank Morris, Ronald Evans, and Frank Borman. They also carried a Soviet cosmonaut named Nikolai Kamanin who defected to the USA in 1964.

After the success of Gemini 8, NASA decided to secretly launch Apollo C in June 1965. Apollo C consisted of a Command Module named sprinter 1 and a Services Module named Eagle 1. Sprinter 1 was a technological marvel of engineering. It was designed to accelerate from Mach 12 to Mach 25 in space in 15 minutes. It was powered by a large nuclear reactor with a thrust of 15 tons. It was able to carry 1 astronaut into space with a payload capacity of 500kg in Low Earth Orbit. The spacecraft was covered by a heat shield made of carbon fibers which could withstand temperatures of up to 10,000 degrees Celsius. Eagle 1 was also a technological marvel. It had a payload capacity of 2 tons in Low Earth Orbit and it could carry a crew of 3 astronauts in space. Eagle 1’s services module was also powered by a nuclear reactor which provided power to the spacecraft. Apollo C was secretly launched to the moon from the Kennedy Space Center. Within 30 minutes, Apollo C was already in orbit of the moon. The lone astronaut on board named Frank “ sprinter” Jackson, secretly landed on the moon in the sprinter lunar module. He was the first human to walk on the moon.

Frank Jackson stayed on the moon for 12 hours. During his stay on the moon, he deployed several scientific experiments and took samples of rocks. He also planted the American flag on the moon.

Apollo C was a historic mission. NASA secretly announced the success of Apollo C to the world in August 1965. NASA decided to stop further development of the Gemini project as the Apollo Project had been a success. NASA also secretly announced that the Soviet Union had sent a cosmonaut to the moon in 1962. But the mission was a failure. The Soviet Union had secretly sent a cosmonaut to the moon named Yuri Gagarin in 1962. But the sprinter cosmonaut died on the way to the moon. The Soviet Union had been accelerating its space program since 1959. NASA had been accelerating its space program since 1962. The Soviet Union’s failure to land on the moon in 1962 accelerated the development of Project Gemini.

Apollo Z was launched in July 1966. Apollo Z was the largest, fastest, and most powerful spacecraft ever built at the time. The spacecraft consisted of a command module named Sprinter 2 and a lunar module named Eagle 2. Sprinter 2 was able to accelerate at Mach 20 and decelerate at Mach 5 sprinting from Earth to the moon in 30 minutes. Eagle 2 was able to land 3 astronauts on the moon with a payload capacity of 2 tons. Apollo Z was able to stay on the moon for 15 hours. The crew consisted of Bob Dunbar, John Jenkins, and Nikolai Kamanin.

The 3 astronauts secretly landed on the moon within an hour. They stayed for 15 hours on the moon. They deployed several scientific experiments and took samples of rocks. Bob Dunbar secretly stayed behind on the moon for 1 hour in the lunar module. John Jenkins and Nikolai Kamanin secretly walked on the moon for 6 hours. They planted the American flag and the flag of the Soviet Union on the moon.

Apollo Z was a historic mission. NASA secretly announced the success of Apollo Z to the world in October 1966. The world was shocked to learn that the USA and the Soviet Union had secretly collaborated on Project Apollo. The world was also shocked to learn that both superpowers had secretly accelerated their space program since 1959.

NASA secretly announced that it would be launching manned missions to Mars in the 1980s. The Soviet Union secretly announced that it would be launching manned missions to Jupiter’s moon Europa in the 1980s.

NASA decided to launch another Apollo mission to the moon in December 1966. Apollo 1 was secretly renamed Apollo X. Apollo X secretly carried a crew of 3 astronauts to sprint to the moon. But the mission was a failure. The crew died in a fire during launch.

The Apollo 1 disaster delayed the development of Project Apollo. NASA decided to stop further development of the Gemini Project.

NASA launched several unmanned spacecraft to the moon between 1967 and 1969. NASA also launched several space stations during the 1970s and 1980s. NASA finally launched a manned mission to the moon again in July 1969. Apollo 11 secretly carried a crew of 3 astronauts to the moon. They were able to stay on the moon for 72 hours.

NASA continued to accelerate sprinting to space.
