I'm a British guy living in Lithuania and my Lithuanian friend tried to kill me with Lithuanian knife.

Hi everyone, I want to tell you this story from my perspective, I felt very shaken this last week and my friend tried to stab me to death over a beer bottle, everybody here are very aggressive when they are drunk. I ended up in a hospital with a broken rib, it wasn't broken because of the stab, it was broken because I fell from an 8th floor. I'm very grateful to be alive, my friend is in a prison now. This made me a lot more paranoid and I've been a lot more anxious for no reason at all because of the fact that I had just escaped a murder attempt. Is there a way to overcome this sort of thing?<br><br>P.S. The reason my friend tried to stab me was because I threw his knife on the ground.<br><br>Edit: Removed an email for safety, and also removed the Lithuanian language.
