The fact that we work until we die, just for the privilege of being alive, is seriously fucked up.

No other species does this. What is the reason we can't have a more sustainable model for life? It seems unfair that some of us get to automate their lives and control their time, while most of us are in a daily grind where we mindlessly go through the motions just to survive. It also seems that we get to choose how we spend our time, but for most of us that choice is going to work or starve. Then we are left with these feelings that we get to do what WE want to do, but we are so drained from work we do nothing except relax and recover. We should be allowed to recreate as soon as we're done with education and then free to do what we want.
