Is there a way to get a hold of psychedelics that’s more reliable than buying them off Craigslist?

I got invited to a trip to San Francisco and I was thinking it would be a lot of fun to buy some LSD but I’ve heard so many horror stories about people buying drugs off Craigslist and getting either scammed or caught by cops. So I’m just wondering if there’s a way to get a reliable hold of LSD or psilocybin that’s not buying from Craigslist? Any help would be appreciated.
