I accidentally saved a kid’s life

About 6 years ago, I was at a bus stop, and I got distracted by something. When I looked up, a kid ran into me, and he had a bunch of blood on his face. I didn’t realize where the blood came from until the kid kept rubbing his forehead with his hand.<br><br>I realized that the kid probably stuck a sharp object on a tree or a fence and it popped out when he ran into me, hopefully not too deep. I told the kid to go to the hospital, but he didn’t want to. His mother was standing across from me, and when I told her, she told the kid to go home and she’ll pick him up from home. <br><br>I was so annoyed and told the kid that he could end up brain dead. He went home anyway. The next day, I was walking to my house from my uncle’s place, and I saw the kid and his mother at the same bus stop. I realized that the kid didn’t have any injuries. I asked the kid and his mother and they told me that when they got home and they tried to clean the wound, out came a huge amount of blood, and they took him to the hospital. The kid was awake the whole time.<br><br>I truly cannot imagine what would’ve happened if I didn’t tell the kid and his mother to go home
