LPT: If you're trying to break an old habit and replace it with a new one, set your phone clock 5-10 minutes ahead. That way when you start getting ready and develop the instinct to check the time, the clock being ahead will disrupt the ritual and remind you not to fall into your old routine.

This is an idea I came up with from a bunch of different principles I've learned from various self-help books, so it's mostly untested but I'm going to start using it myself. I'd appreciate any feedback and I wish everyone who's trying to make a change in their life the best of luck.
