Looked at this way, the observable Universe can be thought of as a hologram in which the physical laws that govern its behavior — gravity, electromagnetism, the strong and weak nuclear forces — are defined by the information encoded on its surface. This relationship means that there are limits to how small a region of space can be and still contain that information.
