My hotel has cockroaches.

I booked a hotel for 13 nights but I’m only on my second night. This hotel is $400/night but I have coupons to get it for $139. But the hotel room I was given has a cockroach in it. So I called the front desk and they said they’d send someone to take care of it, but i have to be here until the person comes because they don’t have a spare key.<br><br>I asked to be switched to another room over the phone but I guess each room type is different and they can’t switch me to *this same kind* of room until they look into it. They didn’t explain why because I’m still waiting in the room for the person to arrive.<br><br>But right now I don’t feel like staying at this hotel any longer. Cockroaches gross me out. *AND* I’ve never stayed at a hotel with cockroaches before so I’m not sure if they’re able to make the hotel completely cockroach free, even if they send someone to take care of it. I had a hotel with a carpet that smelled like dog pee before so I just avoided the carpet but this is a cockroach so I’m not sure.<br><br>So my plan is to get a refund and leave, but I don’t know if they’ll give me a refund for the remaining 11 nights, or what to do if they don’t.
