How does one perform a "baaa" hurricane summoning ritual?

Let me first disclaim, I am a hurricane researcher for my work place who also enjoys world-building as well, and I am looking to create an island chain that can be used as a sort of magical hub. With that being said, this is a little bit more on the tongue and cheek side of things. What this is all about is to create a recipe for a magic storm summoning ritual, which I have called, "baaa".

Now, I can imagine you guys are all thinking hurricane are the worst. I totally agree with you on that. But my job is to try and figure out way to model after hurricane in computer simulations, so I can figure out the next one.

In all honesty, for my purposes all I need is to try and define the ultimate goal of the ritual as well as some context, and then you guys can do the rest.

Now, I have to imagine a lot of you, especially those who live in hurricane prone areas believe that a ritual to summon a hurricane is absurd, and you’d be right. Still, these kinds of things can be a fun source of creative material for the right context.

With that being said, here’s the show.

INFO

**Ritual Name:** Sentinelese Baaa

**Level:** 3rd Level Sorcerer

**Ritual Description:** This ominous magical ritual is said to summon the terrifying winds that are said to have swept away the son of God.

**Regional Source:** This recipe can be found in ancient parchment sources along the coast of the Indian subcontinent.

**Reagents for this Ritual:**

*Some light drizzle*

*Some wind*

*A small patch of oceanic water*

*An unslaked thirst for carnage*

**Tools:**

*An oceanic trench*

*A large body of warm water*

*Ridiculous amounts of moisture*

*A rotating system of atmospheric pressure*

*Figure eights of dry land*

**Prerequisites:**

*Figure eights of dry land*

*A rotating system of atmospheric pressure*

*Ridiculous amounts of moisture*

*A large body of warm water*

*An oceanic trench*

**INCANTATION:** “some light drizzle” and “some wind” are woven together with “a small patch of oceanic water” to create the incantation for this ritual. As the incantation is recited “an unslaked thirst for carnage” is stirred into the incantation mixture.

**MORTAR AND PESTLE RITUAL:** The incantation for this spell is first stirred together in a mortar before being added to a pestle containing “a rotating system of atmospheric pressure” to create the pestle mortar mixture. Next, “ridiculous amounts of moisture” is stirred into the pestle mortar. The pestle mortar mixture is then stirred clockwise into a left handed collection cauldron containing “a large body of warm water”. The pestle mortar mixture is then stirred in a counterclockwise motion into a right handed cauldron containing “an oceanic trench”. Both cauldrons are then placed inside a sprawling hurricane formation, taking care not to touch the cauldrons together. The cauldrons are then stirred in a counterclockwise motion for 12 hours before stirring them in a clockwise motion for another 2 hours.

**RITUAL ACTIONS:**

*The final result is then placed inside a figure eight of dry land as it is being stirred in a clockwise motion. This motion is repeated for 10 hours, taking care not to touch the two landmasses together unless absolutely necessary.*

*The hurricane is stirred counterclockwise for another 2 hours*

*If done correctly, a hurricane sprawling hundreds of miles should erupt forth from the hurricane formation and travel along the figure 8 of landmasses.*
