What if the bugs are just getting more tolerant to our poisons

The store had no more pyrethrin so I grabbed more permethrin. It's been a couple hours and I'm smelling the permethrin and still see the bugs. <br><br>My house has been infested for months and I've used almost a bottle of permethrin. I'm worried the bugs are just adapting to it.
