Historians have long been puzzled by the Nazi-led Holocaust, which was the culmination of a thousand years-long history of jew hatred in Europe. The jews were just 1% of Germany’s population when they were targeted by the Nazi party. What is most notable, however, is that the jews were an integral part of the country’s economy, perhaps the most successful single group in all of Germany.

Hitler himself blamed the jews for the German economic crisis of the 1920s. It was not long until the German economy became isolated from jews. This was followed by a severe economic crisis in the 1930s, which eventually ended the Nazi regime.

It was the result of such a maneuver that the world learned that the jews are “useful” to society, but hated by society nonetheless. The jews were instructed to be quiet, because they are tolerated but not accepted, and that they have no place in society.

But why? This is a legitimate question. Because they are a successful group? That is certainly not true, as has been seen in many other places. Successful groups of people are celebrated and honored. The jews are celebrated for their accomplishments, but not honored for who they are. They are an intrinsic part of society, but not considered an equal part of it.

There are many reasons. And this is just a post.

But I wish to put a date on it. When will jew hatred (antisemitism) end? Will it end? Is there hope for such a day?

Sometimes I want to go back to the jews and tell them that they are not welcome in my country of origin. But I know that is not my place. I stand up for the jews because I know that they are another human being, just like me. And not just that, but they are also an integral part of the economy, society, and my country. But they will never be a part of the country in the same way that I am.

This is the reality. It is harsh, and it is true. Sometimes I wonder what the world will be like when jew hatred will end. Or maybe that day will never come. Maybe the jews will always have to be careful of who they trust.

What do you think? Will there be an end to jew hatred?
