StopTheBlackout

tl;dr: Interoperable sports media subscription service.

Now: The US has a bunch of various sports subscription services: NFL Sunday Ticket, NFL Redzone, NBA League Pass, NHL.TV, ESPN+, MLB.TV. You have to buy every single one of them if you want to see all of the sports, which is very expensive. But worse, they all have blackouts. You can get Sunday Ticket and watch the Patriots vs. any team. But not the Patriots vs. the Pats own team. They blackout your local team, because they have to honor the broadcast schedule.

So if you live in Boston, you cannot watch the Patriots play the Pats. Not even if you pay for Sunday Ticket, or if you pay for Redzone. You have to go to a bar or a friend's house. Or pirate it.

Future: StopTheBlackout.com is a platform where multiple companies come together and coordinate their blackouts. Sunday Ticket, Redzone, League Pass, Game Pass, ESPN+, and others. You pay any of them. Then you watch the game on StopTheBlackout.com. It knows who you paid, and shows you the game.

If multiple of the services you subscribed to have the game, and there is no blackout, it rotate ads between them. So every ad you see is for a service you already paid for.

They each get a cut of the subscription revenue. Each gets a fraction of the ad revenue. Everyone wins.

Its very technically easy, because its just iframe-ing the game stream from the original service. It does not do anything on the backend, just the front end. But it changes the experience for the consumer DRAMATICALLY.
