Crazy story time

Hey all, I stumbled upon this subreddit while visiting the US and thought you all might appreciate this story.<br><br>I'm Australian and about 15 years ago I spent a few months in the US visiting my girlfriend while she worked. During my time there I worked at a general service station. <br><br>The Trump kids came to visit my city (I'll leave the city out and the year) but it was prior to him becoming president (maybe 2005-10). <br><br>I received a call from my manager asking me to come in early as some of the Trump kids were visiting and needed someone to fill their limousine.<br><br>I went in to work and the limo pulled up and sure enough there were the Trump kids. <br><br>I've got to admit I had never heard of them so it was a weird experience, but after I'd finished pumping their petrol and was about to go back to work one of them comes to me and hands me a $100 bill and said "keep the change" , which I was pretty blown away by considering I'd only done about $80 worth of work, so I politely thanked her and went back to work.<br><br>I thought nothing of it and went on with my usual day. At the end of my shift my manager comes to me with a very serious look on his face and said in a serious tone "I had a call from Trump organisations head of security asking about an incident involving yourself and a member of the Trump family" I had no idea what was going on.<br><br>I explained to him that all that happened was they came in, got some fuel, gave me a $100 tip and left. He goes on to explain that the head of security had called him and accused me of demanding a bribe from a member of the Trump family. <br><br>This had all come about because the Trump kids had complained about the fuel price to head of security and he'd investigate it, found out I'd received the $100 and accused me of demanding it from her.<br><br>I nearly lost my job over this ridiculous accusation.<br><br>Anyway, just thought you guys might enjoy that. Also, I'm glad I get to say "fuck Trump" on an internet message board and not have the secret service come and drag me away ;)
