My dad is furious that my mother slept with other people in an open marriage he suggested.

Some background my dad and mom had been married for decades. My dad had always complained about how sexless the marriage was. He wanted to leave but my mom wanted to stay and have an open marriage. My dad didn't want that. The marriage was ending either way. My dad meets someone he wants to marry. But the divorce isn't finalized yet. My mom meets other people she wants to date. They are friends. My dad suceeded in having the divorce granted. He tells everyone, including my mom's new boyfriend that the marriage is ended and he wants to marry this woman he has been dating. <br><br>My mom is furious with him. Apparently her new boyfriend really likes my mom. And he doesn't want her to be alone until the new year. Apparently, in my mom's culture, you don't date during the holidays. My dad is okay with my mom dating but he's obviously not okay with her being alone. <br><br>My mom is extremely angry with him for this. She has cut every contact with him until the new year. I support my mom and also find my dads behavior disrespectful to my mom. <br><br>I love my dad and he's a great guy but can someone just tell him to grow the fuck up and back off and give my mom some space. My mom doesn't want him around until the new year and he needs to respect that.
